description: Life-size replica of the infamous Michael Myers house from John Carpenter's classic 1978 horror film “HALLOWEEN.” It is a private residence and was custom-built from the ground up and completed in March of 2009.
The Myers House NC is approximately 1,900 S.F. (that's including the front porch & back screened-in porch) and is located on over 5 acres of land, surrounded by woods and farmland, with beautiful countryside views. The area is ideal for any type of filming - it is very secluded and quiet, a significant distance off of the main road and away from the general public. The house itself sits at the end of a private drive and has plenty of area for parking and setting up.
This residence is a re-creation of a turn of the century simple American four-square Victorian home with Carpenter Gothic details (such as stunning gable ornaments). Turned porch posts, Victorian gingerbread elements, and 7 foot tall windows give this house a distinctive presence.
The interior of this modest house is very quaint and contains 2 upstairs bedrooms, an office, living room, kitchen / dining area, 2 ½ baths and more. The house features rustic farmhouse decor with some more ornate and Victorian touches scattered throughout. Highlights include hardwood flooring, an authentic hand turned newel post in the foyer, and a Victorian inspired fireplace.
This house was built out of love for Halloween and serves as a mecca for Halloween fans and fans of the horror genre
