Makare Saunders is a filmmaker from Shallotte with experience in directing, writiing, animatiion, and editing. She has worked as a production assistant on American Ninja Warrior and on various indie productions. She has been recently been trained as COVID Compliance Officer through Health Education Services and is currently on Johns Hopkins University's Contact Tracing course. Makare recieved her MFA in Filmmaking from the Maryland Institute, College of Art.
