Description

Sarah Sloan is a freelance USC Annenberg trained creative video producer working within a racial equity framework. In 2022, Sloan produced the feature length documentary InJustice: Hidden Crisis in Virginia’s Prisons. The same year she was Production Manger for Being With Yourself, a SENA production. Sloan was a coordinator on the Steve James (Hoop Dreams) documentary series America to Me. Sloan is a Social Impact Fellowship recipient from Participant Media.


Special Skills & Experience

Sloan is a creative producer with experience as Production Manager on large-scale documentary productions (Being With Yourself, SENA.la) as well as homegrown documentary films – for which she is creative producer and sound recordist. Sloan operates with a community-media making framework – film participants and community members are co-storytellers and collaborators.
