I have been a union costumer for the past 28 years, the last 10 years I have been a Costume Supervisor. I have held every position in the costume department giving me a the background needed to run the department with ease and without drama. It also has equiped me with knowing what each position needs to purform their duties efficiently.
My background in clothing construction gives me a unique skill in fittings and communicating with actors and seamstresses. I have a trained and skilled eye for fit, form, style, and proportion. I am also very good at breaking down scripts, budgeting, reciepts, assets, organization and assisting the designer in any way that's needed. My calm and friendly dememour helps the crew have fun, stay on task, and feel comfortable communicating any issues with me.
