Alexandra Franco Zorro from Bogota, Colombia earned a Bachelor´s degree in Music with a Specialization in Piano Performance from Universidad Incca de Colombia and an MFA (Masters in Fine Arts) in Film Music from The University of North Carolina, School of the Arts.Alexandra is a passionate composer and producer with extensive experience in Film Music, skilled in producing music in different formats for ensembles and orchestras with state-of-the-art virtual technologies and music software. She is also a member of the Colombian Composer Association (Muscine). With more than ten years of experience, Alexandra has been creating original music for productions in the USA and South America.. Along with the Film Music career, she has also developed as a performer. Since she began her undergraduate studies as a Pianist, she has been playing in Jazz ensembles in several formats in Colombia and North Carolina (US) where she is currently based. She is the music director of Colombian Jazz Masters, a series of concerts that has been created with the aim of showing and highlighting the original compositions of the musicians that are part of the current Jazz scene in Colombia.
