Through being a Floating PA I have gained experience in the Production Office, Locations Department, Camera Department, and Craft Services. I also filled in as a Set Production Assistant. Tasks I have done include locking down an area of the set, making runs to pick up lunch orders and craft items, setting up tents, tables and chairs, loading files onto the main backup, rendering proxies and daily selects, and running cables for monitors and the array system and more. I have had moments where I have had to use creative problem solving as well, such as ordering a cake last minute in Spanish using Google Translate for a crew member who's birthday was the following day. I have used my time on set to pick up as much as possible, and learned what it looks like to work as a Grip, AC, Director of Photography, and Stills Photographer. I worked for the UPM and Production Coordinators while in the office and have learned a lot about how the business side of the film industry operates.
I run a photography business on the side, and shoot on digital and film as often as possible. I adjust and edit photos through Capture One Pro. I am friendly and easy to work with, and enjoy meeting new people. I am dependable and show up on time.
