ON being a sound mixer, there is more then meets the eye and what the specialized position actually sounds like. First of all I consider a sound mixer to be a PR specialist, it's a job up front because, in most cases you have to be up close and personnel with the stars of the show.Sometimes you need to get uncomfortably personnel unbuttoning shirts, pants, and belts to place a mic.
