After producing the short "Brothers From Creatures Unknown," Jacob graduated college and embarked on independent feature filmmaking, producing and directing "Edge," a detective thriller leveraging his uncle's law enforcement resources. He worked as a Line Producer for Ubisoft's "Tom Clancy - The Division: Dark Winter" and served as a replacement producer for "Hide and Go Seek." His dedication extended to low-budget productions like "Buckshot," which garnered critical acclaim and festival awards. Jacob also ventured into audiovisual management and obtained a Project Management Certification.Recently, Jacob has focused on documentary filmmaking with projects like "Behind The Smoke" and "Global Panic," exploring firefighter tributes and global crises. These documentaries won numerous film festival awards. Jacob's commitment to storytelling and diverse experiences across various industries underscores his passion for cinematic artistry and effective project management.
Hustling in the industry for over 15 years, Jacob has worked as an assistant, on major Hollywood films like "La La Land" and brand name commercials like Land Rover and Dyson Vacuum, to producing low-budget features like "Buckshot" and "Edge." His recent years involve producing and his skills at editing for documentary features. Jacob finds himself at home in a production office handling all manner of logistics and budgeting as well as a post-production studio, stringing together a project for a finished polished look. In addition, Jacob owns an array of production equipment from lighting to camera gear that can be rented out or used to produce a low-budget feature film.
