I studied cinema production at college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. Since then, I jumped into the industry in 2020 and I have worked multitudes of projects since then. I started off as a 2nd AC on a movie called "Adeline" and once I returned from that project, everything began to snowball. I connected with the DP for a short film called "Wages of Sin" where I met a lot of the film workers from the Charlotte area. Once I was connected with them, I started being offered with multiple jobs involving movies, commercials, and music videos. Early 2022, I decided to start marketing myself as a 1st AC and began investing in my own gear that would allow me to fulfill those duties. Since then I have been accumulating gear and equipment that will provide efficiency to productions that I am hired on and will secure a smooth operation. I plan on being a 1st AC here in Charlotte for awhile and hope to connect with more working professionals near and far from this city.As a 1st AC, I have had a lot of experience involving: - Pulling focus on Steadicam/EasyRig/Handheld/Dana Dolly- Building out cinema cameras will lots of support and additional accessories for functionality- Balancing steadicam for steadicam operators- Leading a team to maintain efficiency and strong work performance- Being able to work or pull focus under intense pressure (i.e. time constraints)- Prep a camera and the additional accessories at a rental house with a DP needing to be there and ensuring the rental house provides the production with everything we would need.- Maintaining communication with rental houses to be able to provide anything would need last minute while in the midst of production. - Taking care of logistical problems to alleviate any stress or worry from the DP. - Making sure the DP feels taken care of and that they have a support they can rely on.
